About Adelaide Tonight

Adelaide Tonight is a nightly directory of what's on in Adelaide. Bands, sport, theatre, comedy, festivals, food and wine — pulled from the venues themselves and presented as one editorial feed. Text only, no images, no ticket re-sale. The job is to answer "what should I do tonight?" before anything else.

How it's built

A small programme reads the public listings of Adelaide venues every few hours and writes them to one feed. The site is the feed. We do not host event images, do not sell tickets, do not take a commission. Every card links straight to the venue's own page — that's where ticketing lives.

Takedown

If you run an event listed here and want it removed, fill in our request form. We will action requests within 48 hours.

Privacy

We use a self-hosted, privacy-respecting analytics tool (Umami) to count visits. It uses no advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking cookies. The site does not log visitor IP addresses or browser user-agent strings.

The browser fetches one public event snapshot; browsing it sends us no personal event data. If you use the request form, your email and message are delivered to our private inbox through our email provider and used only to reply to or action your request. They are not added to a mailing list.

Accuracy and corrections

Listings can change after we collect them. Check the linked organiser page before travelling or buying a ticket. If something is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Bot identity

Our crawler identifies itself as AdelaideTonightBot and honours robots.txt. If you run a venue site and would prefer we slow down or stop, contact us — we will oblige.
